Process

How a branding project works

Brief, directions, one direction refined, then guidelines and files. You approve each stage.

1. Brief and quote

You tell us about the business, the customers and where the brand will appear. We ask about anything missing and send a written quote with the number of directions, revision rounds and a delivery date.

2. Logo directions

We present two or three logo directions, each a different idea, shown on a sign, a card and a phone screen so you can judge them in context. You pick one, sometimes with a detail from another.

3. Refine one direction

We refine the chosen logo, build all its versions and test them small and in one color. You mark up changes in each revision round.

4. Guidelines and launch files

With the logo final, we write the guidelines and design the launch kit pieces you ordered, then hand over every file in organized folders.

Ownership

When the project is paid, the final logo and files are yours. Fonts are licensed separately by their makers; we tell you which licenses you need and suggest free alternatives where they work. See the privacy policy for how your details are handled.
